Veterans Day in Colorado Springs is Set to Honor Wounded Warriors at Annual Parade

During Veterans Day in Colorado Springs visitors and locals alike line Tejon Street to see the annual Veterans Day Parade each November.

This year's parade, held November 9th at 10 AM kicks off at Tejon and St. Vrain Streets before the parade route proceeds south on Tejon Street to the finish at Vermijo Avenue.

Themed “Spirit of the Warrior - Honoring our Wounded Warriors”, the 2013 parade features marching bands, scouts and floats as well as individual veterans and veterans’ groups.

Held at America The Beautiful Park festivities begin at 9:00 AM with music, vendors and prizes! The World Record Count for the most “Waldos” in one place takes place at 10:30 AM followed by a group photo. The first wave of the Run/Walk begins at 11:00 AM.
