Pikes Peak fun

Thrill-Seeker
(noun)
1. A person who enjoys taking part in extreme sports and other activities involving risk. Also known as an Adrenaline Junkie.

Does this describe you?  When visiting Colorado Springs you MUST take on the challenge of the Terror Dactyl at Cave of the Winds to satisfy your need for the extreme. It is, of course, the “Dive Ride of Epoch Proportions!”

Terror Dactyl opened last year and is the first of its kind anywhere in the world.  Imagine yourself on the edge of a 200-foot cliff above Williams Canyon in Manitou Springs.  Experience the thrill of being launched 150 feet into the canyon at nearly 100 miles per hour! Feel the full G-Force of the ride during a free fall drop that will have you skimming the tops of the trees in the canyon below.

This is just one of the many attractions at Cave of the Winds that visitors can enjoy during their time here including cave tours, the Wind Walker Challenge Course and more.

In Colorado Springs there is no shortage of exciting activities all around. Cheyenne Mountain Resort hopes to welcome you to the area this season to experience some Pike’s Peak fun with Terror Dactyl! Our resort features amazing recreational amenities to compliment your Colorado Springs adventure.
