It’s that time again. Time to rev up those engines Pikes Peak Speedweek begins June 20th and runs through June 29th this year. It’s an entire week of ongoing events to gear up for the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on Sunday. This “Race to the Clouds” as it is called is the second oldest motor sports race in America in its 92nd year this year and a long standing tradition in Colorado Springs.

June 23rd ~ Technical Inspection
June 24th ~ PPIHC Sanctioned Practice Day
June 25th, 26th, & 27th ~ Practice/Qualifying Days
June 28th ~ Set-Up Day
June 29th ~ Race Day
On June 27th the annual free pre-race celebration, Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Fan Fest, will be held in downtown Colorado Springs. Here you will be able to enjoy festival activities such as a beer garden and live entertainment. Of course you will be able to view the top race qualifying vehicles and maybe grab an autograph or two.
While you're in the mood for fast don't miss the Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack at the Colorado Springs Airport on June 27th and June 28th. This event will feature the fastest street cars in the nation in a half-mile side-by-side roll race and trap speed competition. You won’t want to miss it!
