Summer is Family Vacation Time and We’ve Got Lots of Things for Kids to Do in Colorado Springs

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

You’ve always dreamed of taking a family trip to Colorado where there’s endless views of the Rocky Mountains and non-stop adventures in the great outdoors. But what will you do with the little ones? Are there enough adventures and things for kids to do in Colorado Springs to keep them happy? You bet there is!

The Colorado Springs area has many attractions suited for the littlest members of your family.  Here are just a few:
Manitou Cliff Dwellings
Cave of the Winds
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
North Pole - Home of Santa’s Workshop
Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center
Space Foundation Discovery Center

So you have all these activities planned for the kids, what about you?  You would love to have a day away just shopping in the quaint shops of Old Colorado City, or relaxing at the nearby Lotus Spa & Salon, or maybe even a horseback ride along the Arkansas River with American Adventure Expeditions.  No worries, you can let the kids enjoy our Cheyenne Kidz Camp while you have some much needed time to yourself.  They’ll get to enjoy making new friends and having new adventures while you set out on a few of your own.

Plan your summer family vacation with us at Cheyenne Mountain Resort where there’s lots of things for kids to do in Colorado Springs and lots of things for the adults to do too.  For more information on all the attractions in the area check out our Things to Do page on our website.  And don’t forget about our Packages & Promotions page where you can find ways to save on your stay with us.

We hope to see you over the summer at Cheyenne Mountain Resort!
