Ride the Rockies
June 8 - 15, 2013
Telluride to Colorado Springs

The more than 500-mile ride winds through varying elevations as riders make their way northeast to Colorado Springs on June 15, finishing at Cheyenne Mountain Resort. The schedule for this year’s tour, set to follow an eight city route across the Centennial State, covers anywhere from 46 miles to upwards of 90 miles each day. Riders will ascend three famous mountain passes: Lizard Head, Wolf Creek and Poncha Pass as well as take on Royal Gorge Bridge, the highest suspension bridge in the United States, on their way to Colorado Springs!

This annual Colorado bike ride tour is presented by The Denver Post with proceeds from the event going to The Denver Post Community Foundation which provides direct funding to Colorado nonprofits. For additional information, visit the 2013 Ride the Rockies website.

Cheyenne Mountain Resort, part of the host community of Colorado Springs, looks forward to welcoming cyclists, volunteers, families, friends and spectators to watch this amazing feat of endurance and determination culminate at our resort.
